Recommended RV Observation Cameras That Can Be Used As Security Cameras
Question:
I am looking to install a camera system on a 2008 cyclone 3795. If possible a wireless system for ease of installation would be preferable, but I am willing to go wired if that is the best option. A 3 camera rear/2side system is what I am thinking. Lastly I would like to be able to use while towing and then move screen inside trailer for security. Curious about your thoughts? Thank you.

We have just the system you are look for.
I recommend the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ 3 Marker Light Cameras - 7" Screen # FR98NR which has a camera for each side to replace a clearance light, and a camera for the rear of your 2008 Cyclone 3795 which also replaces a clearance light. This system requires wiring for power, but wirelessly communicates with the included 7" monitor allowing you to view all 4 cameras at once for security, or towing purposes.
If you wanted to add a fourth camera you will need the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera w/ Night Vision # FCN48TASF which you can add to any part of the trailer you like, but since you are wanting the system for security also, over the entry door would be a great spot.
Now since you are wanting the system to work all of the time, you will need to get a little creative with the wiring, since the system typically connects to the running light circuit. You will need to run power wires from each of the lights to a switch like the # PK34360, and then to the onboard battery on your trailer. This will allow you to turn the cameras off when the trailer is not in use. To be able to have the cameras activated when towing, or for security you will simply need to turn the switch on.
Lastly the included monitor require 12v power, so adding the 12V Power Outlet for RVs # 37215105 inside of your trailer will allow you to plug in the monitor when needed.
