There is a hitch receiver available that is confirmed to fit your 2017 Mercedes Benz C 300. The Curt # C11485 will fit, however, it has a maximum tongue weight of 200lbs, max towing capacity of 2,000lbs, and is 1-1/4". There is currently not a hitch receiver available for your vehicle that is rated for 300lbs tongue weight, or one that is 2".
There is an excellent bike rack available that will fit this hitch. I recommend the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # TH903202. This fits 1-1/4" hitch and 2" hitch and has a weight capacity of 65lbs per bike. The carrier itself weights 45lbs, so after adding two bikes weighing 65lbs each, you would still be well under the 200lb tongue weight capacity of the hitch receiver.
This bike carrier allows up to 3" wide tires. You may want to look into the Fat Bike Straps # TH985101 which would then allow up to 4-11/16" wide tires.
I have attached demonstration videos for the # C11485 and # TH903202.
