Tires For Horse Trailer
Question:
Need information on Carrier ST 225/75R15, 5 on 4 1/2 D ,AM 32545. Can I used them on a 2 horse trailer. Im looking for 4 tires with the wheels.

The Karrier # AM32545 tires and wheels are rated for 2150 pounds per wheel. If you have a single axle with two wheels then your capacity (trailer, horses, and cargo) would be 4300 pounds. The tires on a tandem axle trailer with four wheels would have 8600 pounds total capacity. If that meets your needs then just verifty that they will fit on your trailer. First these tires are 28.4" in outside diameter, and the bolt pattern is 5 on 4.5 inch. I have attached a guide to measuring the bolt pattern.
