Solution for a Trailer Where the Tires Rub the Frame

Question:

please list the back spacing measurement for all your 14 and 15 inch wheels. 5 lug 4 1/2inch bolt circle. My trailer was built with the tire sidewall too close to the inner fender. Im using a spacer, but the right side is still a little too close and the tires rub. Alternatively, do you sell longer wheel studs for a reliable axle with drum brakes? This would allow me to use a thicker spacer. Thanks for your help!

We don't recommend using wheel spacers to give a wheel more backspacing for trailer frame clearance. The real solution you need is to go with a longer axle. Nearly all trailer wheels have either a zero offset or very close to a zero offset so none of them would have the backspacing or offset you would need.

A longer axle will push the hubs out further and will allow the rims to fit without trailer clearance.

I attached a page that has all of the trailer axles we offer. We don't have an extensive list of axles sizes so you may find that you need to custom order yours.
