For your 2006 Saab 9-3 the DaLan part number 247326 you referenced is the correct part number and is the same as part number 11326 from Curt manufacturing on our site. The wiring does not come with the hitch.

Your vehicle will need to be hardwired to provide an electrical trailer connector. I would recommend the # 119179KIT to wire your vehicle so that you have all of the wiring, hardware and inline fuse needed to complete the installation. You will have to use a circuit tester to identify your vehicles wiring. The # 118418 includes a circuit tester, if you do not order the kit and need a circuit tester, we have one, part # PTW2993.

The wiring for your Saab 9-3 connects behind the taillights. Once you have the trailer lighting connections made you need to run the remaining red wire to the vehicle battery with at least a 12-gauge wire and a 10-amp fuse (included with wiring kit). Then you mount the Modulite converter in a convenient spot behind the left side taillight and run the 4-pole connector to a spot near the hitch. You may want a mounting bracket to keep the connector safe and out of the way. Our 18144 and 18140 mounting brackets work well together for a no drill installation. I have posted links to the items mentioned above, instructions and an installation video to help guide you through the process.
