Recommended Ball Mount for a 2017 Ram 1500
Question:
Have 2017 ram crew cab 2x4 with hemi. Had truck hitch from factory already. Plan on pulling a Texas Pride 7x14x4 dump trailer weights 4000lb. Uses a 2 5/16 ball. Which hitch would I use? My truck not with me at this time. Thanks

In order to choose the correct ball mount for a truck you really need to have specific measurements on the hitch height as well as the coupler height for the trailer/trailers you'll be towing. That said, we know you'll most likely need a drop ball mount with multiple adjustments so in which case I recommend the BulletProof Hitches Adjustable 2-Ball Mount part # MD206. This drop ball mount offers up to 6" of drop and comes with multiple hitch balls so it can be used with a variety of trailers.
