Does Install of Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller Require Running Blue Wire
Question:
If i use curt brake controller #C51180 it looks like I will not need to connect a wire to blue brake wire on the tow vehicle. Is that correct? Also does the controller need to be horizontal,or can it be tilted?

You are correct on both accounts. With the Curt Echo Mobile # C51180 installed in your vehicle you would not need to have the normal brake output circuit (blue) wire ran anywhere on the vehicle since the controller provides all that is needed for that circuit. Also the controller can be tilted when installed which is a common way that 7-ways mounted.
