Recommended Manual Winch for Car Trailer

Hi. Looking for a manual winch to pull my 3,000 lbs race car back on the car trailer if it happens to break and not be able to drive on it anymore. Would mount the winch on my 18’ trailer which pulls my 14’ car. Which one do you recommend?

The Jif Marine 2-Speed Trailer Winch part # 315-W3200D would be a great option for an all-inclusive manual crank hand winch. It has plenty of capacity for most any vehicle and it has a two-speed design for faster operation. It comes with the strap and hook as well so you will be ready to go once mounted.

The Jif Marine 2 Speed Winch part #315-W3200D that you referenced will lock with every gear click as you turn the handle. The only way it's going to free wheel is if you pull down on the lever to unlock it.
