To install a slide topper like the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000168110 on a slide that already has a regular awning installed you will need to take a few measurements to ensure enough clearance.

From the outside edge of the slide flange to the awning brackets you will need at least 3" clearance, and from the top outside flange to the awning brackets you will need at least 6" clearance.

As long as you have the proper clearance you will be able to use both a slide-out awning and your regular awning. If you do not have that clearance you will need to either move your regular awning arms, or decide between a slide-out awning or regular awning.

If you have enough clearance and can tell me the width and length of your slide I would be happy to recommend the correct slide-out awning for you.
