Difference Between Stealth Hitches for 2020 Audi Q3
Question:
The spec. indicates a max towing weight of 6,000 lbs, but in the Notesinch section it indicates that this cannot be used for towing. I am confused

I can understand why this is confusing! The Stealth hitches like the # 391AUDQ319 are a bit of a different animal than a conventional hitch, and the receiver that it comes with is designed only for carrying hitch mounted accessories like a bike rack. If you're going to want to tow with your 2020 Audi Q3, you'll instead want to use the # 391AUDQ319T which has a specially designed ball mount and 2" hitch ball that is designed for towing with the Stealth hitch. If you look at the notes for this model, it does state this model is made for towing.
This package is great because it comes not only the towing ball mount parts, but also with the receiver that can be used for carrying a bike rack and the wiring that is required to add a 4 way wiring harness. This hitch is rated for up to 6000-lbs towing, but from what I was able to find it looks like the Q3 is only rated for around 4000-lbs total, so you will be limited to the lowest rated component-which in this case is the vehicle. I do recommend confirming this in your vehicle owner's manual.
