I cannot find the outside diameter spec for the hub where it mates with a wheel. I need to make sure my wheels would be compatible with this brake drum - hub.

If the trailer wheel size you have is between 14-1/2 inches in diameter and 16-1/2 inches in diameter the trailer hub # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K that you referenced will fit but if you have a different size wheel this won't work.
