What Diameter are Studs of Trailer Hub # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K
Question:
Are there any options available that use metric studs to match what Toyota uses? M12x1.5 Or is it possible to swap out studs?

Is there a reason you'd want to swap to a different stud size? The studs of this are 1/2 inch in diameter and we do not carry any Metric stud replacements.

I have the same question. The reason to replace the studs is to use the same spare tire for both the tow rig and the trailer. The studs for Toyota are not only a different thread pitch they also use different style lug nuts. If the studs are swapped for the Toyota 12mm x 1.5 then the rim will except the factory size lug nuts too. Has there been any change in this option since this question was last asked? Can you provide any technical info on the included studs? If I were to break a stud what replacement option would I have?
