Weight Distribution System for 14,000 Pound Trailer
Question:
I need to upgrade my e2 10,000 to a 14,000. Do i need to buy a new system or can i just buy the ball head bracket and the trunnion bars?

The maximum tongue weight capacity for the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Bars is 1200 pounds, which is unfortunately not enough to support your 14,000 pound load (with a potential tongue weight between 1400 and 2100 pounds).
You will need to get a new system to support the larger load. I recommend the Blue Ox SwayPro, part # BXW2003. It's rated up to 2,000 pounds and has built in sway control. It's made for hitches with a receiver of 2-1/2 inches, so be sure that you have that opening. We don't have weight distribution system that can carry that much weight and fit in a 2-inch receiver.
Another thing to keep in mind is your vehicle's towing capacity. Check your owner's manual to be sure you can tow that much weight. It looks like the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado will not be able to handle that.
