Which Head Position to Use with B and W Companion Hitch with Long Bed Truck
Question:
Hi. What is the ideal position to install the hitch. We have an 8 foot bed so one or 3 inches in front of the hitch would work perfectly fine. Which one should we choose? Our trailer weighs 11,000 pounds loaded. Thank you so much. We have the F3 50 diesel 8 foot bed 2020.

The head position of the B and W Companion hitches like the BWRVK3300 doesn't make a huge difference if the additional clearance it can provide isn't needed. That said I would recommend the forward most position as it would make the overall length of your towing setup a little shorter and would make sure the weight is centered better above rear axle.
