Is Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar Compatible With Blue Ox Base Plate on 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

I have a blue ox alpha II towbar I used for a wrangler. Now wanting to tow a 2019 Cherokee trail hawk. Please confirm these are the right towplate and that they are compatible with the alpha 2 towbar I already own

The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1143 is the correct option for base plates on your 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, but these base plates are not compatible with the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar # BX7380. The reason for that is the spacing of the tabs on the base plate are 37-1/4" apart, and the Alpha 2 is only compatible with spacing up to 32" apart.

Due to that larger spacing, the tow bar that is needed for the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1143 is the Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar # BX7420.

The Avail is an outstanding tow bar that is non-binding, has long arms to ensure your Jeep maneuvers and tracks easily behind your motorhome, and comes with safety cables to save you from having to buy them separately. There are some other parts you will need in order to flat tow your 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk as well, which I'll list for you.
