Installation of Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay
Question:
I have Brakemaster 9000 for Hydraulic brakes. It did work last time I use it. I found a fuse that had gone bad. But the relay doesnt seem to work even when I put 9 volt battery it clicks. I have straight wired the pump motor and it still works.

It sounds like the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 has possibly gone bad; if there was enough current to blow a fuse, it's possible that it also caused the relay to go bad. There are detailed instructions linked to this answer and you'll need to determine based off the vehicle you're towing whether or not you will install it normally open or normally closed- there are also diagrams and instructions on the product page.
