I want to mount in bumper using existing hole. what is the hole size required to receive the connector

If you were to take the mounting bracket off the Hopkins # HM48480 the diameter of the rear plug housing is going to be roughly 2-1/2". I've also attached a photo that shows the dimensions between the mounting holes that you would need to secure the plug to your bumper so you can make sure that you have spots to attach the plug to.
