The Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # SH59VR is a fit for your 2020 BMW X3 whether it is the M40i model or not. This receiver is only for bike rack or accessory use. If you want to tow with the hitch receiver, you instead will want the # SH45VR which comes with the towing package as well.
