If your 2020 Chevy Equinox is equipped with the factory tow package, the correct Curt harness is the T-Connector # C94FR. If you don't have the tow package (there isn't a factory connector already present at the bumper) you will instead want the Tekonsha T-One Harness # 118759, which plugs in-line behind the tail lights. Both options will provide you with a 4-Way connector to power a trailer's basic signal lights.

If you still need a hitch I highly recommend the Curt # C77FR (as long as you don't have the Diesel model).

I have attached a couple short videos on these harnesses that you can check out as well. The Curt harness you were looking at is not compatible with your Equinox.
