Troubleshooting Trailer Running Light Fuse of Vehicle Blowing on 2010 Honda Pilot
Question:
So I have it traced to the 20 amp fuse blowing in the rear driver side fuse box. I replaced it and it blew again right away. 2010 Pilot, with a mitsuba unit, RK00-451. My running lights are not working so I am guessing I have a short somewhere? 1997 Coleman Santa Fe

Expert Reply:
Yes you definitely have a short on that circuit's wiring. If the fuse blows without a trailer connected the issue is on the vehicle side of the wiring, if the fuse blows when the trailer is connected then the issue is the wiring on the trailer. You'd need to go over the wiring looking for any cut or exposed wire and fix as needed.
