Ball Mount For a 2013 Chevy Camaro with 1-1/4 Hitch
Question:
How much space do I need between the ball and my back bumper for a standard ball coupler like you would find on a uhaul trailer? I only have an inch or so between the two on my setup and I am curious if that is okay.

You are probably OK but if you are anything like I am it would be too close for comfort. I wouldn't want to take a chance at potentially causing any damage to my fascia. I recommend the Curt Class II Drawbar - 5" Rise - 11-5/8" Long - 3,500 lbs Item # C45015. The hitch on your vehicle is 8-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most part of your fascia and 9-3/4 from the ground to the top inner most part of the receiver tube. This ball mount has an 11-5/8" long shank and a 5" rise. It will give you 2 inches of space between you fascia and ball and 13 inches from the ground which is what we recommend.
