Will Installing Lippert SolidStep RV Steps Interfere with Door Operation

With these steps the attachment point goes over the threshold plate. Does this affect closing/opening the door?

The threshold plate used on the Lippert SolidStep fold out RV steps like the # LC791574 is thin enough that it won't interfere with the opening or closing of your RV door. I've linked to a product demonstration video for you.

Since you have a distance of 36 inches from the threshold to the ground the correct SolidStep you need is the part #LC791574 as it has a height range of 35 to 44 inches from the threshold to the ground.
