Cleaning Threads of 2014 Chevy Traverse to Allow Install of Trailer Hitch

I cleaned out the weld nuts but the 12 x 1.75 hex head bolts still wont go into the weld nuts on the frame . On the 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. Could they be a different size weld nuts .

If you can find a thread tap in the size you need that's what you'll need to use to clean out the threads well enough that the hardware of the hitch # 75528 will fit. This is a fairly common issue with trailer hitch installs on vehicles that have seen a few winters.
