Recommended Swagman Bike Rack for Fat Tire Electric Bike for 1-1/4 Hitch
Question:
I have a 2015 Honda Crosstour with a UHaul mounted 1.25 inch receiver - 200 lb. tongue weight, no electrics. My new bikes are electric. One is a 4 inch fat tire and the other standard. The weight of each bike with the batter removed is about 60 lbs. Do you offer a Swagman or other rack capable of handling that weight? 120-125 lbs when loaded. I have a Thule rack now but with a 2 inch receiver which I had on another vehicle and with the adapter is out too far from my receiver with an adapter. I need the rack in closer to my rear bumper because of the E bike weight. Thanks for any input.

The Swagman Current 2 Bike Platform Rack part # S64678 is the perfect bike rack for electric bikes with fat tires as it has a 60 lb weight capacity and works with tires up to 5" wide. It works with a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening and it only weighs 49 lbs so you will be under the 200 lb weight capacity.
Please note, the Swagman Current 2 Bike Platform Rack is class II/III rated.
