Swagman Current Bike Rack Fit on Subaru Outback When Folded
Question:
If upon buying the swagman current and trying it on my subaru outback. Can i return it if I am not fully satisfied? Coz’ i was worried that it might be hitting my bumper if in a folded position. Dont have any way of trying the rack unless purchasing it first. Or you have shop or retailers that i can try it? Thank you,

We can help you with a measurement to help you determine the fit so you don't need to purchase and possibly return the item. We don't have any retail shops, but we do provide the information you need to confirm if it is a fit or not.
The Swagman Current 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # S64678 has a measurement of 5-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when folded and 12-3/4 inches to the closest part when unfolded to carry bikes. If you measure straight out from the hitch pin hole of your trailer hitch receiver to the outermost part of your bumper and find it is under 5-3/4 inches then the Swagman Current will fit when folded. If not, then it will not fit and you will want to consider a similar rack like the RockyMounts MonoRail 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches - Tilting - Wheel Mount # RKY10004 which will be 6-1/4 inches from the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when folded.
