2016 Apex Nano 17x Weight Distribution Recommendation

Question:

I have a hybrid trailer that has a GVWR of 6000. I had it weighed loaded at a truck stop while returning from a camping trip. It came in at 4500lbs and 680lbs tongue weight. The bed of my truck is always loaded with an empty Barker 42 gallon tote 53lbs and other assorted gear that could add at least 100lbs behind the axle. Does a 1000lb/10000lb WDH make sense? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

For a loaded weight of 680 to 780 lbs a 1,000 lb tongue weight WD system would ideal and would work great. Ideally you go with a system that has a tongue weight range that your trailer's loaded tongue weight falls right in the middle of.

For that the best solution is the Equal-i-zer kit part # EQ37100ET which has a tongue weight range of 600 to 1,000 lbs.

To install the included hitch ball will require a thin walled socket like the # ALL643216.
