Compatibility of Westin Bumper with Trailer Wiring Connector
Question:
replacing rear bumper on 2008 f150 Does Item # 61000 have room in the cutout to install the trailer wiring socket 6pin/4pin combo? I want the socket to be more protected If not which bumper has room to install the socket there?

The Westin Fey Diamondstep Rear Bumper - Black Powder Coated Steel # 61000 does have room to make a cutout for your trailer wiring. It does not come with the cutout for wiring. It comes with the cutout for the license plate light on each side that do come with the bumper. You can use 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket - Vehicle End # HM40975 mounted vertically if you are comfortable cutting the bumper. If you want the 6-way then use # 40965. If you do this, make sure to use some paint to seal the cut edge to protect from rust and corrosion.
We don't have a custom fit bracket for this bumper and your 2008 Ford F-150, so you would need to have something custom fabricated. We currently don't have any confirmed fit bumper options for your truck.
