Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And we're going to be taking a quick look at the, Ford super duty hitch cover. This is a nice way to keep your hitch clear of any debris buildup, while you're out on the road. The hitch cover keeps everything nice and protected, so that whenever you go to put in a bike rack or a ball mount or a cargo carrier, it's not filled up with rust and other gunk so. Also shows off your Ford pride.

So, let's take a closer look at it, and make sure that this is going to be the right fit for you. Does have this stainless steel plate. So, it's going to be nice and heavy duty and long lasting. We shouldn't have to worry about really any rust build-up, or anything like that. It is laser etched.

So, we can see our laser marked, I should say, for the logo.So, it looks pretty nice and crisp. The back or the rest of it, is been also made out of stainless steel. So again, no worries about rust there. We'll have three different mounting holes to choose from, as far as how much this sticks out of our hitch. It does not come with an attachment.

So, you will have to pick up a hitch pin and clip, or a locking hitch pin on your own. We do have a lot of options for those here at etrailer. So, if we look at how far those mounting holes are from that face plate, looks like it's about, 1 5/8 of an inch to the closest. Then about 2 1/8 and then about 2 3/4 roughly, from the center of each of those points, to the back of that face plate. Overall measures about 3 1/2 inches long.Going again from that same spot, back to the face plate, to the rear of our shank.

Fits in a two inch by two inch hitch. The face plate itself measures about, 5 1/4 inch long or 5 1/4 inch wide, and then about three inches tall. Is covered by a limited lifetime warranty, and it is made in the USA. That's going to do it for our look at the, Ford super duty trailer hitch cover.
