Recommended Weight Distribution System with Sway Control for a 3,500 Lb Trailer with 3" Tall Frame
Question:
I have a trailer that Id like to use a weight distributing hitch with. It weighs approximately 3,500 lbs dry. The problem Im running into is that the trailer has a 3 inch tall frame. It seems that all of the good systems that include weight distribution with sway control only work on taller frame profiles. So what WDH systems should I look at that will work on a 3 inch tall frame?

Expert Reply:
The weight distribution system I recommend with integrated sway control that will fit a 3" tall trailer frame is the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System part # RP66558 which is a bolt-on option. In order to use this system you will also need the 2" Hitch Ball part # 63845.
