Is Yakima Y02443 HoldUp Bike Rack Compatible with Bikes With Fenders

Will the front wheel hook compress on enough of the tire to be secure on the Aventon Level bike which has a short front fender?

Using a wheel mount bike rack like the Yakima # Y02443 isn't recommended for bikes with fenders, as the wheel hooks won't get a tight enough hold on the tire, plus the weight of the Aventon Level exceeds the 60 lb/bike capacity of the Yakina HoldUp. No worries, though. We do have an alternative that would work great for you.
You'll want to use a rack with hooks that hold the bike by the frame, so I'd recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE, part # HLY74FR . The rack can handle 2 bikes weighing up to 80 lbs apiece. Hollywood Racks makes a great product, and the # HLY74FR is extremely highly rated by our customers, as you can see by reading the product reviews on the linked product page. Once of the best features of the rack is that it can be tilted rearward away from the vehicle with the bikes in place for access to the cargo area of the vehicle. The rack includes an anti-rattle shank to keep the rack from moving around in the hitch receiver, as well as a keyed-alike hitch lock, locking frame hooks and a cable lock.
