Brake Controller Recommendation for 2014 GMC Yukon XL with Factory Wiring

hi i have a 2014 yukon XL. It has a tow mode on the shift lever. It has a 7 pin on the hitch, but the breaks of the trailer dont work. The manual says its wired. What should i get to get the towing brake work?

Your 2014 GMC Yukon XL has wiring ran in it for a brake controller but it does not have one built in. So what you'll want is a brake controller that installs easily that utilizes the factory wiring of the vehicle. For that I recommend the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN part # TK63VR which gives you a proportional brake controller that is very reliable and works well at the price of a much cheaper controller.
To install it you just need to make a few connections under the dash of the vehicle to the controller and then make a few connections under the hood of the vehicle. If you check out the install video I attached you can see the entire process outlined.
