7-Way/4-Way Kit for 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Similar to Factory Wiring Setup
Question:
Hello, I have a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk without the factory tow package. I am installing the OEM Trailer hitch that mounts in the stock location, however, I do not want to install the factory wiring harness as it is too expensive and difficult to install. I cannot find an aftermarket 7 way wiring harness for my model Cherokee. The reason I would like the 7 way harness is that I want it to have the factory look of the trailer connector that fits into the factory cutout for the connector. Please help me with some options. I dont necessarily need the 7 way connector, just the 4, but i dont know how else to be able to use the factory style vehicle end trailer connector. Thanks,

I looked up the factory hitch and wiring kit for your 2019 Jeep Cherokee and the style of connector is the # HM11141144 which you could install on your vehicle but you'd want to use the 4-way kit part # C56406 as an easy way to get the trailer taillight functions first. This is custom fit for your vehicle and you could cut off the 4-way so that you could wire the harness to the 7-way and you'd be set.
