Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2007 Jayco Seneca Motorhome

Question:

I am looking for a Class IV - V hitch receiver for my 2008 Jayco Seneca MS36 on a 2007 Chevrolet Kodiak/Topkick C5500 frame 34 wide outside to outside. The truck RV did come equipped from Jayco or Chevrolet with a Hidden Hitch / Draw-Tite Class IV 10,000#, but any original part numbers are gone. I need to replace and upgrade, but at least replace this one but Im really having a hard time finding the correct bolt pattern with dimensions, and yes it is bolt on, with no welds or rivets to the frame as if Chevrolet had equipped it. First it has the standard 6 bolts, 3 on each side, bolts center to center 30-3/4 frame to frame, 12-1/2 front to aft, 8-3/16 first to second, then 3-7/8 second hole to rear hole. Though the holes may differ on the hitch frame as they are slotted these are the measurements of the bolts as they are mounted to frame. brackets are nearly 5T x 17L round tube type center angled out to reach 12 from frame to receiver. Less than 4 bottom of frame to top of receiver. I could send pictures if needed. Thanks very much for help you can give me in finding a replacement to this hitch receiver.

The best option we will have for you to replace the trailer hitch on a 2007 Jayco Seneca Motorhome is with a universal option like the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41990-16 which would require drilling into the frame or welding. That said, this would be the only option we have as I am not aware of any bolt-on replacements. It does have the Class V rating you are after.
