Does Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes Require Safety Chain for Vehicle

Is it required to have safety chains that secure the towed car to the dolly or will the wheel nets suffice?

You will not need to add safety chains to attach your vehicle to the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes # RM-2050-1.

Like you mentioned, the ratcheting wheel straps are going to be what secures your vehicle to the dolly. The dolly does come with safety chains, but those are for the dolly itself and attach to your motorhome.

The Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes part #RM-2050-1 does not have any tongue weight as is the case with any flat-towed vehicle whether they are on a tow dolly or all four wheels. The tow dolly for refrence weighs 545 lbs.
