Correct Equal-I-Zer System for my Grand Design 2800BH and 2010 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I am looking at purchasing a Grand Design 2800BH 32 ft. travel trailer and towing it with my 2010 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 5.7 4x4 which has the tow package rear end 4.30 gear. The travel trailer hitch weight is listed at 604, with a gross weight of 7995 and dry of 6386. I heard good reviews about the equalizer wdh. Would the correct one be for a 10K GTW? Would this be a good setup for this truck and trailer?

I think the Equal-I-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control part # EQ37100ET that you mentioned would be an excellent choice for your setup. We always choose the system based on tongue weight plus anything loaded in the vehicle behind the rear axle. So with your camper's tongue weight at 604 lbs. it will work out perfectly.

The range on this system is between 600 and 1000 lbs. with 800 being the sweet spot. Once hooked up and loaded for travel you will likely be right around that mark.

I've attached the video we did on the system here at etrailer for you to check out. Personally the Equal-I-Zer systems are one of my favorites ti use and setup. Highly recommended!
