How To Switch Out Rollers On a Boat Trailer for Bunk Boards

I have a1982 Ez-Loader boat trailer, for a 17 foot boat. It is a roller trailer that I would like to convert too a bunk trailer! Could you suggest the parts I would need too convert the trailer! Thanks

In order to choose the correct bunk boards for a trailer you'll need to base the length of board to the length of the hull on the boat. There is not an exact formula for this as it is determined by the trailer manufacturer which we are not. However, you can use the roller system you have now to get a good idea of what is needed. The options we offer vary from 2' long to 7' long. The CE Smith Carpeted Bunk Boards for Boat Trailers like part # CE27845 are what I recommend using but you can use more than one per side if needed. I have attached a full list of options below.

In regards to mounting, the CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies part # CE10000G-4 along with u-bolts which match your frame size are what I recommend.
