Stiffer Leaf Spring Recommendation for Trailer with 3,400 lb Boat and 5,200 lb Axle
Question:
I have a boat trailer with a 3500lb axle. The boat and trailer weigh approximately 3400lbs. Im concerned about moving to a 5200lb axle. Will the springs be too stiff and damage my boat?

The springs will be stiffer but they wouldn't damage the boat. You just might see the suspension not move quite as much as it did with the 3,500 lb axles and springs. For a bit more capacity that won't be overly stiff I recommend a 4,000 lb leaf spring with your 5,200 lb axle with part # e57SR.
