Recommended Roof Rack for 2019 Chevy Tahoe and 16 Foot Canoe

My canoe is 16. Yakima rack system says no canoe longer than 14. Why is that? I typically just attach kayaks and canoe by strapping them down to the rails no special holders. I also need to have a system that accepts a cargo box. What is my other best option for a 2019 Tahoe? Thanks
