Recommendation for 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector on 2019 Nissan Frontier
Question:
I have a 2019 Nissan frontier. I want to tow a utility trailer with a 4 prong hook up. At some point I am going to get an ultra light trailer that will probably have a 7 prong hookup. I am trying to get a parts list of everything I need to buy off your site. Ive settled on the draw Tite class 3 hitch but need to know more info about what wiring I need for having a 4 and a 7 prong attachment. Can you help?

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118281 is what you need for your 2019 Nissan Frontier. If the trailer has electric brakes you will also need a brake controller. I recommend using the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR and custom wiring harness # 3050-S. There are many brake controller options for you and I've linked a page to them, but I personally like the function and the clean mount of the Tow-Pro Elite.
If you want to be able to also tow a 4 way trailer, then you will simply need to add an adapter like # C35FR.
