Bike Rack for Electric Bike With 50 Inch Wheelbase
Question:
My wife has a Blix Sol electric bike that has a 50 inch wheelbase. The Thule Model TH903202 specs say that the maximum wheelbase is 48 inches. Will her bike fit securely on this platform? Does Thule sell any type of extender for the platform? Thanks so much!

We have a number of really good bike racks that are going to work with your wife's Blix Sol electric bike with a 50 inch wheelbase, though the Thule EasyFold # TH903202 will only work with a bike that has a wheelbase up to 48 inches, as you noted, and her bike won't be able to fit securely.
I recommend the Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV.
This rack works with bikes that have a wheelbase up to 50-1/2 inches and weigh up to 60 lbs. It is a wheel-mounted rack so it won't work for an e-bike with fenders, but based on my research the Blix Sol does not have fenders.
The only other option to consider is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 2-Electric Bike Rack # HLY74FR.
The SE2 - which fits both 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch hitches - does not have a ramp available, but it is more budget-friendly than the MTR and will work with a 1-1/4 inch receiver. It is also able to accommodate wheelbases up to 60 inches and has a capacity of 80 lbs per bike, so it is extremely sturdy.
