Best Recommended Bike Rack for 50 Wheelbase Mountain Bike
Question:
I have a 50inch wheelbase mountain bike that also has a 29inch wheels. I noticed that the Thule T1 and Kuat Transfer 1 have a maximum wheelbase of 48inch and 47inch respectively. Question: Would I be able to fit my bike better on the Kuat with the flexible wheel cup or no ?

You might be able to fit your 50" mountain bike on the RockyMounts HighNoon # RKY87RR if you use your own strap for the rear cradle, but that is not the recommended way of using it. Also its wheelbase is too short and the rear cradle strap really can't adjust to fit a longer bike.
My best option for you is to consider a two-bike rack like the Swagman Semi 2.0 # S64686. It has a longer 50" wheelbase and a heavier 45 lbs weight capacity. It also has an integrated cable lock for your bikes. I think it's a great two-bike rack as it has all the good features without the heavy price tag.
