Propane Regulator Compatible with Tankless Water Heater 157,000 BTU

Question:

Installing a Tankless water heater and would like to hook to a small propane tank. Specs for the heater are: 157000 BTU, 8-13inch Water Column with a max of .05inch of Water Column. It recommends a 3/4inch inlet pipe. Can I just hook this up to the 3/4inch pipe with a 1/4inch to 3/4inch reducer and make it work? CAM59333 for tankless water heater

You can use a propane tank for the BTUs needed and simply use the appropriate fittings and regulator. For the regulator, I recommend the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator w/ P.O.L - 160,000 Btu/Hr # CAM59333 you referenced which has an 11 inch water column.

If you don't have the POL fitting, then I recommend the Camco Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator - 160,000 Btu/Hr # CAM59313 or the horizontal 2-Stage # CAM59323 which can use the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail - Type 1 x 1/4" Male Inverted Flare - 1' # 100575-12-MBS with Thread Sealant Tape for Gas Lines # 37207-30025.
