From the base to the top of the 2" Hitch Ball # SC23-C measures about 3-1/2", and the overall length of the hitch ball with the shank is about 6". I have attached a diagram and a review video for you to check out.

From the base of the #C40047 up to the top of the ball measures 4.091 inches. This is about 1-3/8 inches taller than a standard ball.
