Can the Factory Tow Hook Still Be Used with the EcoHitch Trailer Hitch On a 2020 Subaru Forester
Question:
Can the rear towing eye still be accessed/used after the Ecohitch is installed on a 2020 Forester? For the Subaru OEM hitch, which is a similar design, Subaru says that the towing eye is no longer accessible.

I took a look at the instillation instructions of the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7391 which is an excellent option for a 2020 Subaru Forester and there was no mention of blocking the factory tow hook connection point. That said, I don't see anywhere for the hook to attach with the hitch in place but you can just use the safety chain loops on the hitch itself which are more accessible anyhow.
If you will be towing then you'll also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118467 which is plug and play along with the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 which has the rest of the components you'll need to complete your towing setup.
