I currently own a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500. I have a Reese fifth wheel hitch installed in the truck. I am looking into buying a 2020 Gmc 2500 with the dealer prep package. Can I use my hitch in my 2015 in this truck?

You can absolutely use a Reese 5th wheel trailer hitch that fits standard base rails, like the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928, in a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500.

To do this you simply need an adapter, the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # DM6333.

This adapter simply drops into the pucks of your 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 and gives you standard, above-bed base rails. The accompanying photo a customer sent in shows you exactly how the adapter will look when installed on your truck. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.
