Triple Step for Trailer That has 29 Inch Entry Height and 29-3/8 Inch Entry Width

Question:

Good morning, Ive been trying to pick the right door for a 2016 Crossroads Zinger here are the following dimensions, Door width 29-3/8 inch wide at jamb - problem is the door does not swing back to allow access to the full width, also has a door stop mounted at the threshold, I can easily remove the piston and swing the door out of the way but just need to make sure we can offset the stairs to the latch side to clear the mounting bracket for the door piston. Height to the ground is 29 inch so I think the 2 or 3 step will work but would like the 3 to add the rail if that is possible.

You mentioned you were trying to pick the right door, but based on the rest of the question, I do believe you were talking about steps. Based on your information, an entry height of 29 inches and width of 29-3/8 inches, you can use a triple step like you wanted, the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 26" to 29-7/8" RV Door Frames # LC791572.

The use of the triple step will also allow you to get the hand rail, the Lippert Entry Assist Handrail # LC799640.

The steps may be able to offset ever so slightly, but for these types of steps you really do need to be able to open the door all the way. If you can remove the door stop that would be best.

I have added a link to the installation instructions which I highly recommend taking a look at.
