Easy Way to Add 4-Way Trailer Connector to Rear of 2014 Volkswagen Touraeg with Round Connector
Question:
Thanks, I'm about to order, but wanted to confirm there isn't an option for this with just the 4pin connector? I don't see us ever needing the other connection.

Thanks for the picture of the trailer wiring connector you have on your 2014 Volkswagen Touraeg, based on that your vehicle is wired for a 7-way and just missing the socket. So the easiest solution to give you a 4-way is the part # HM40975 that you referenced. This has a 4-way on one side and a 7-way on the other plus comes with a bracket to mount easily to your rear bumper as well.
