9/16 inch Diameter Shackle/Spring Bolt Options for Boat Trailer

Question:

Replacing leaf springs on boat trailer and shackles and spring hangars are galvanized. The original bolts are galvanized as well. Do you have any galvanized shackle bolts for this application? Planning to use the Lippert never fail bushing with the galvanized bolts. Should the bolts be 9/16 grade 5? Do you have the replacement springs, galvanized shackles and bolts, equalizer 13-10 for a Venture Boat Trailer 2006 VTR-4700? Trailer information plate is attached attached.

9/16 inch diameter shackle and leaf spring bolts are the standard size for trailer suspension so that would be what you'd need for your boat trailer. The part # TRFA73Z916DLNZ that you referenced is this size like you will need and also is galvanized like you wanted which will help prevent corrosion.

Another really great solution is the part # 126B2 which has a zerk fitting on the bolt head which allows you to easily grease the bolt and bushing to prevent corrosion as well.
