Needing U-Bolts to Fit Around 2x3 Trailer Frame Member

Question:

Hello - I have a small sailboat trailer and I need to buy a U-bolt to go around the center bar. I am going to attach a cable to each side of it and run it back to the trailer wheel base and put some cargo netting down in a sort of triangle form so I can carry some long, narrow supples under the boat. I am including pictures of the width of my trailer. it looks like it is about 2 inches wide and 3 inches tall. One of your U-bolts looks like it is 2 1/4 inches across the width you label this A. But it seems like I need it to be 2 inches? Also, I need a plate to go across both of the bolts to keep it in place on the trailer bar. My plan is to attach the wire cables to the each side underneath U-bolt before I bolt it down. Can you help me buy the right one?

Given the dimensions you provided, I believe that a u-bolt kit such as # CE23103 that's typically used to mount a 2 inch square trailer axle to the leaf spring pack would be your best bet. The kit includes two assemblies, each of which includes two 4-1/2 inch long 1/2 inch U-bolts with a 2-1/8 inch inside span, two bolt plates and the necessary nuts and lock washers.

I've linked to a product description video for the U-bolt kit I recommended.
