Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for Class I Trailer Hitch on 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback
Question:
I want to run a kuat 2 bike trailer. It’s a 2”. Can I do something to make it work. I’m not carrying e-bikes or heavy bikes. Just 29” adult BMX which are light. The kuat has great security and a work station so it’s ideal for me.

While you can use a version of the Kuat NV 2.0 bike rack rack on your 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback, it does require the NV 2.0 model with the 1-1/4 inch shank as opposed to the model with the 2 inch shank. The reason for that is the only trailer hitch that fits your '19 Elantra GT hatchback (so long as it does not have a double exhaust) is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver, the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11509.
So what you will need are either the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack # NV12G (Gunmetal Gray) or # NV12B (Metallic Black).
Both of these bike racks fit a 1-1/4 inch hitch and are Class I compatible; these are exactly the same as the 2 inch versions of the NV 2.0, with the security and the work station (bike stand) you said you liked.
